Members of the UB professional staff are invited to share a dessert with colleagues and celebrate summer — and the approach of another academic year — at a dessert social to take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 5 in the Honors College, 107 Capen Hall, North Campus.

“Sweetly Celebrating Summer @ UB” is presented by the Professional Staff Senate’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

Those attending are asked to bring their favorite dessert — all desserts are welcome, whether homemade, store-bought, chocolate, fruit, gluten-free, kosher, dairy-free, peanut-free or vegan.

Water and ice tea will be available and attendees also may bring their lunches.

Participants should RSVP by July 31 and indicate if they will bring a dessert to share. Desserts are optional, but all staff members are welcome to attend.
