The Buffalo Center Chapter of United University Professions, the union representing UB faculty and professional staff, will hold its fall membership meeting Sept. 12 on a Miss Buffalo cruise.

Boarding at the Erie Basin Marina, 79 Marine Drive, Buffalo, will begin at 5:30 p.m., with the boat ride taking place from 6-8 p.m. A deluxe buffet will be served; a cash bar will be available.

Both dinner and cruise are free for UUP Buffalo Center members; the cost is $20 for spouses and partners who are not members.

Boat capacity is 185 persons; those interested in attending should make their reservations no later than Aug. 30 by contacting Kristen Rinker at 645-2013 or buffalocenter@uup.org.
