UB’s Schussmeisters Ski Club is gearing up for its 53rd season by offering special membership deals to faculty, staff and alumni, and their family members.

Membership rates are $260 for faculty/staff/alumni who purchase their season passes by Oct. 18, and $270 for members of their families. Rates increase to $300 and $310 for passes purchased from Oct. 21 through Dec. 6, and to $330 and $340 for passes purchased Dec. 9 and after.

Returning Schussmeisters members also will receive a $20 discount when they renew their memberships.

A Schussmeisters pass allows members to take part in five nights and four days of skiing per week at various local ski resorts.

The club also is planning a trip to Sugarbush, Vt., in early February.
