“Behind the Scenes at UB,” a free tour of units and programs on the North, South and Downtown campuses sponsored by the Professional Staff Senate, will continue on Feb. 12 with a tour of the Downtown Medical Campus.

North Campus employees can board the bus to downtown at 11:30 a.m. at Lee Loop; the bus will head to the South Campus to pick up passengers at 11:45 a.m. at the Main Circle.

The tour will be led by Patrick J. Whalen, chief operating officer for the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. Stops will include the Innovation Center, UB’s Clinical and Translational Research Center, Kaleida’s long-term nursing facility, the new parking garage at High Street and Michigan Avenue, UB’s New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences, the UB Downtown Gateway and the Jacobs Institute.

The bus will pick up passengers at 1 p.m. at the Jacobs Institute to return to the South and North campuses.

No food or lunch break will be provided, so participants are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch to eat on the bus.

To register for the tour, email pssenate@buffalo.edu by Feb. 6.
