Spots are still available for Kettlebell Training, a 10-week summer Exercise is Medicine program sponsored by Wellness and Work/Life Balance and the Department of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences.
The program, to be offered from 4-5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting May 13, will feature structured and supervised group kettlebell training. Kettlebell training consists of exercises with weighted kettlebells that target the legs, core and upper body—a cross between traditional aerobic and resistance training.
Each participant will receive a fitness assessment and measurement of fasting glucose and lipid profile at the beginning and end of the training.
The cost is $50.
