The Employee Assistance Program is offering a free workshop on Integrated Amrita Meditation Technique (IAMT) from 9:30-11:30 a.m. July 31 in 107 Capen Hall (in the Honors College in Silverman Library), North Campus.
The relaxation technique, which will be taught by Bharat Jayaraman, professor and chair of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, helps participants reduce stress through simple yoga postures, breathing, visualization and sound.
