A workshop designed to help humanities faculty apply for external grants and fellowships will take place from noon to 3 p.m. Oct. 11 in 280 Park Hall, North Campus.
The free workshop is sponsored by the Humanities Institute.
Participants will learn strategies from two experienced grant writers and evaluators, exchange ideas with other grant seekers and, if they choose to pre-circulate a draft application essay, receive specific feedback from peers. Draft proposals may be at any stage—from preliminary sketches to finalized applications.
While the workshop is free, an RSVP is required by Oct. 4. Participants should indicate when responding if they would like to have lunch; those who would like to take part in the feedback session should include a draft application essay for pre-circulation.
