Female football neophytes who want to prepare for the 2013 season can learn the fundamentals of the football experience, including officiating, food and fashion, at Women’s Football 101, being held from 5:30-9 p.m. July 30 in UB Stadium, North Campus.

Shannon Quinn, wife of head football coach Jeff Quinn, and the UB coaching staff will lead the behind-the-scenes look at UB football.

The cost is $30, which includes a tailgate party with cash bar and gift bag.

Proceeds will benefit the Breast Cancer Network of Western New York Inc.

Participants are advised to wear comfortable shoes and clothing in order to participate safely in a series of light on-the-field drills and activities directed by the UB football coaches.
