Business Day 2013, a day of training, information gathering and networking presented by University Business Services, will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 16 in the Ramada Hotel & Conference Center, 2402 North Forest Road, Getzville, adjacent to the UB North Campus.

The free event will feature workshop sessions on financial issues, human resources, procurement, SIRI, HUB and other important topics to help professionals, administrators and support staff work more effectively. Information tables staffed by UB departments and preferred vendors also will be on site.

A complimentary shuttle will run between the Center for Tomorrow parking lot and the Ramada, with a stop at Flint Loop. The shuttle will run from 8-10 a.m., 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 2:30-4 p.m.
