    The UB men's basketball team opened 2026 with a decisive, 85-72, win against the Ball State Cardinals last Saturday in Alumni Arena. The Bulls, 13-2 overall, improved to 3-0 in Mid-American Conference play for the fourth time in program history and the first time since 2018-19. Spotlight Symposia Series

The College of Arts and Sciences' 2026 Spotlight Symposia Series will celebrate the groundbreaking contributions of UB faculty member Soo-Kyung Lee, director of the FOXG1 Research Center and a leading expert on genetics and brain development. The symposium, "Master Switches of the Mind: Gene Regulation and Neurodevelopmental Disorders," will bring together leading experts in the field for a two-day event that features a keynote, technical talks and a poster session.
