19th Annual Workshop on Emerging HRMS & LC-MS/MS Applications in Environmental Analysis & Food Safety.

Welcome

The LC-MS/MS workshop is an annual scientific meeting that alternates between North America (Canada and USA) and Barcelona, Spain. The purpose of this meeting is to provide a forum for scientists from academia, industry, and government agencies to share and discuss state-of-the-art methodologies and new research findings related to the analysis of environmental and food samples using high resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) and liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) techniques.

The workshop will cover the theory and applications of these techniques in the following session topics:

  • Advances in HRMS instrumentation and their applications in environmental and food analysis
  • Applications of ion mobility mass spectrometry
  • Non-target analysis and bioinformatics in LC-HRMS
  • HRMS and LC/MS-MS applications in exposome research and wastewater-based epidemiology for public health
  • Fate, transport, treatment, and effects of emerging contaminants
  • All about PFAS

We invite students, faculty, and researchers to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations at no-cost, and stay for the end-of-the-meeting dinner for an opportunity to form new collaborations with different professionals from around the globe.

We look forward to seeing you on September 24th  and 25th, 2023!
