Students, faculty, staff and visitors now have more ways to pay at campus vending machines.

Campus Dining and Shops over the summer upgraded card readers on all campus vending machines to accept major credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Wallet through tap-to-pay or card insertion. UB Card payments — including Dining Points, Campus Cash and FlexiBull Bucks — will continue to be accepted through a card swipe.

As part of the upgrade, cash payments and purchases through the GET Mobile app will no longer be accepted. The new technology is designed to provide a faster, more convenient purchasing experience for customers buying snacks, beverages and other vending items.

The project is part of Campus Dining and Shops' ongoing efforts to enhance campus services and meet the evolving needs of the UB community.
