Spring Into Art, the signature art event of the spring semester, returns to the University at Buffalo Center for the Arts (UBCFA) on Tuesday, April 28 from 5–7 p.m. Free and open to the public, the annual event invites the UB and Western New York communities to enjoy an evening of performances, exhibitions, installations and hands-on activities.
Featuring work by UB students, faculty and staff in the departments of Theatre and Dance, Music, Media Study, Art and the UB Art Galleries, Spring Into Art offers visitors a chance to experience the range of creative activity happening across the university.
“Spring Into Art gives people a chance to see the Center in motion,” says Jamie Enser, executive director of the UBCFA. “It is an opportunity to discover and celebrate the artistic talent at UB and to experience the work of the artists who make the Center such an inspiring and welcoming place.”
The UBCFA will be active throughout the evening with live performances, interactive experiences, exhibitions and opportunities to engage with UB artists. Free parking will be available in the lots adjacent to the UBCFA.
Throughout the evening, visitors can engage with members of UB’s arts community and learn more about the creative activity taking place at the UBCFA.
A full schedule of activities is available online.
