Several members of the university community have reported being approached by people soliciting for a church group and inviting people to attend bible study classes. There is heightened concern about these solicitors based on a social media rumor that they are actually a front for a sex trafficking organization.
As of Aug. 23, University Police now serve all UB-owned or operated facilities on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. University Police officers are assigned to respond to both emergency calls and routine calls for service.
