Talk of the Lab published a four-page feature on the work of Diana Aga, director of the UB RENEW Institute and the Henry M. Woodburn Professor in the UB Department of Chemistry. Starting on Page 8 of the magazine, the story discusses Aga's career in academia and industry, including the last 19 years at UB.

Her collaborative research focuses on detecting and analyzing organic pollutants, including per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and antimicrobials, in environmental samples such as water, with the aim of finding ways to reduce the levels of these pollutants. "With the new analytical technologies it is now possible to identify unknown compounds at environmentally relevant concentrations," Aga says.
