Health spoke to John Sellick about what doctors say about getting a third COVID-19 shot if you have a weak immune system. “In spite of these company presidents going in the media saying we need third doses by December, none of us have heard of anything yet that indicates we're getting degradation of protection," said Sellick. But, he says, it may get to a point where federal health officials add so many people to the "immunocompromised" group that things will change. "Once you start adding too many groups on, it eventually gets to the point where it's just easier to say, 'everyone get a third dose,'" Sellick says.
