Media Advisory: UB, Senator Tim Kennedy to announce funding for major cultural project

BUFFALO, N.Y. – University at Buffalo officials will join New York State Sen. Tim Kennedy and representatives from the office of Gov. Kathy Hochul at a news conference this morning to announce funding for a new museum on the university’s South Campus.

The $10 million in funding, secured through the advocacy of Sen. Kennedy, with the support of Gov. Hochul, will allow UB to extend an invitation to visitors from around the world to experience and engage with the university’s unique resources.
