Winston Duke lecture cancelled

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The University at Buffalo Distinguished Speakers Series lecture with actor and UB alumnus Winston Duke scheduled for this Thursday has been cancelled.

The lecture, originally set for Oct. 13, then rescheduled for Thursday, was cancelled due to a conflict with Duke’s filming schedule.

Ticket refund information can be found below.

  • Guests who paid with a credit card through the UB Center for the Arts box office will be automatically refunded within 30 days.
  • Guests who paid with cash or check through the Center for the Arts box office should email ubcfatickets@buffalo.edu, or visit the box office, which is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from noon to 6 p.m. When requesting a refund, please bring your order information and ID.

Next up in the Distinguished Speakers Series is Aly Raisman, the third most decorated American gymnast of all time and team captain of the Olympic gold medal-winning women’s teams in 2012 and 2016. She will speak Nov. 16.
