UB Center for the Arts Announces Roger Waters Presents Legacy – A Pink Floyd Show

The University at Buffalo Center for the Arts (UBCFA) announces Roger Waters Presents LEGACY – A Pink Floyd Show, an all-new live production coming to the Mainstage Theatre on Tuesday, April 13, 2027, at 7:30 p.m. 

Created under the direction of Roger Waters and led by his son Harry Waters, “LEGACY” celebrates the defining music and visual world of Pink Floyd’s golden era from 1971–1979. The world-class 10-piece band will perform music from “The Dark Side of the Moon,” “Wish You Were Here,” “Animals” and “The Wall.” Harry Waters, a longtime touring musician, pianist and composer who spent more than 15 years performing alongside his father, serves as musical director and leads the band on B3 organ, piano and vocals.

“What makes this show so exciting is the direct connection between this music’s history and a new live experience,” says Jamie Enser, executive director of the UBCFA. “With Roger Waters presenting and his son Harry Waters leading the band, the show carries that legacy forward for a new generation. We’re thrilled to bring something new to Buffalo and give audiences another way to hear the music of Pink Floyd live.”

“The father’s legacy. The son’s band.” That's the concept that drives “LEGACY,” a show that aims to recreate the original recordings as closely as possible while pairing the music with a visual presentation shaped by Roger Waters’ team. The production features a pictorial retrospective inspired by the original Pink Floyd work, including visuals Waters created during his tenure as the band’s creative force, presented on high-definition LED video screens. Spanning more than two hours, “LEGACY” reaches deep into Pink Floyd’s catalog and celebrates music that continues to resonate today.
