As part of an ongoing review of graduate programs, the UB College of Arts and Sciences has announced a plan to strengthen the English department’s doctoral program and improve the program’s long-term competitiveness.
The UB Confucius Institute and the Chinese Club of Western New York will mark the arrival of the Chinese New Year with a diverse program celebrating Chinese culture on Feb. 17 at UB’s Center for the Arts.

“Grey’s Anatomy” actor and activist Jesse Williams will appear at UB on Nov. 18 as part of the Distinguished Speakers Series. Williams, this year’s Undergraduate Student Choice Speaker, will speak at 7:30 p.m. in Alumni Arena, North Campus.
