BUFFALO, N.Y. – FNUB Inc., an affiliate of the University at Buffalo Foundation, has entered into an agreement to sell the former Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) building at 465 Washington St. to Ciminelli Real Estate Corp.
The autobiographic writing of the University at Buffalo’s Educational Opportunity Center students comes to life through the voices of professional actors at a staged reading of their stories and poetry this week in Buffalo’s Theater District.
The human triumphs of the University at Buffalo Educational Opportunity Center will be displayed through the spoken word during a staged reading of works by adult learners beginning at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 14 in the 710 Main Theatre in downtown Buffalo.
Eight additional companies – including Bak USA, an assembler of affordable electronic tablets – will relocate on or near the University at Buffalo campuses through their participation in START-UP NY, the innovative tax incentive program established by Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo.
