The UB Alberti Center for Bullying Abuse Prevention will again join forces with Hodgson Russ LLP and M&T Bank for another “BAND Against Bullying” school arts competition on April 28.
A group of UB experts and students will hold a panel discussion on ways to strengthen efforts to make the university more accessible to underrepresented communities, and will address topics including access to visiting the university; student expectations; counselor-to-student ratios; and the application and financial aid processes.
An award winning documentary is coming to Buffalo for a special screening thanks to some teamwork involving the UB School of Social Work and the Amherst Senior Center.
UB will send another sizable troupe of student volunteers to plant trees in South Campus neighborhoods on Saturday, April 18, as part of the “ReTree the District” project that aims to plant 1,000 trees in the University District by the end of 2016.
