The Western New York Prosperity Fellowship continues to grow, awarding a record class of 34 UB scholars, as well as transitioning from a scholarship to fellowship program.

The UB School of Management has named its 2015 Accountant of the Year: John D. Cudmore ’90, senior vice president, finance – divisional operations and strategic planning for the Madison Square Garden (MSG) Co.

A team from the LoGuidice Education Center in Fredonia developed a plan that cut student suspensions, increased student attendance and reduced disciplinary referrals.

The award is widely considered the highest honor in the United States for journalism.

PhotoZyne, the startup led by the three UB graduate students that won this year’s Henry A. Panasci Jr. Technology Entrepreneurship Competition, has done it again — this time at the state level.

A model conceived and developed by a three-member interdisciplinary team of UB students was among this year’s winners in a prestigious international mathematical modeling contest.

The Career Resource Center and the Internships and Experiential Learning Office in the UB School of Management honored business leaders, students and companies on April 24.

It is the only institute of higher learning in New York in 2015 to receive the honor.

Marion Quirici, a PhD student in the UB Department of English, has received a $20,000 American Fellowship award from the American Association of University Women.

Pennante Naa Ayikailey “Penny” Bruce-Vanderpuije, a doctoral candidate in the UB Department of Chemistry, has received the prestigious 2015 Schlumberger Foundation Faculty for the Future Fellowship.
