Medical students, residents and faculty members from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences will dine with community members on Sept. 6 to gain a better understanding of how Buffalo’s residents experience health care and what their concerns are.
UB students will mark the start of a new academic year beginning at approximately 4 p.m. on Aug. 24 by forming the university’s logo in UB Stadium on the North Campus.
Volunteers from UB and the community around the UB South Campus will distribute kits containing tips on how to be a good neighbor as well as other important information during Operation Doorhanger on Aug. 24.
About 29,000 students return to the University at Buffalo starting Aug. 23, and UB has a variety of Welcome Weekend events and programs aimed at helping them greet the new academic year.
