  • UB Moving 50 Employees into Downtown Buffalo, Freeing Up Space for Expanded School of Nursing

    The University at Buffalo plans to move several of its key fund-raising offices and their 50 employees into the Jacobs Executive Development Center and its adjoining carriage house at 672 Delaware Ave. as the university continues to increase its presence in downtown Buffalo. The move is part of a plan that also will free up space in Wende Hall on UB's South Campus as the future home for an expanded UB School of Nursing better positioned to meet community needs.

    WYRK-FM will present the WYRK Fall Acoustic show Starring Blake Shelton at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 23 in the Mainstage theater in the Center for the Arts on the UB North (Amherst) Campus. Opening acts are Luke Bryan and Sarah Johns. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Food Bank of Western New York.
