    A survey conducted by the University at Buffalo School of Management that evaluated the leadership skills of President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney has found that Obama scored significantly better than Romney in most leadership categories and in overall leadership skill.

  • UB Libraries Honored as a Federal Depository Library of the Year

    The University at Buffalo Libraries have been selected as a 2012 Federal Depository Library of the Year by the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO). Acting Public Printer Davita Vance-Cooke made the announcement on Oct. 15 at the Federal Depository Library Conference in Washington, D.C.
  • UB Law School Conference Celebrates Progress against Domestic Violence

    Two landmark anniversaries will be marked Oct. 19 at the "Conference on Intimate Partner Violence/50 Years of Family Court" as the University at Buffalo Law School pays tribute to the "ripple effect" of its work against domestic violence. Originally scheduled to take place at UB, overwhelming interest in the conference required organizers to seek a larger venue. The event will be held in Samuel's Grand Manor, 8750 Main St., Williamsville, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
