David Castillo, a UB professor of Romance languages and literatures, has been named director of the university’s Humanities Institute, a multidisciplinary center established to promote innovative teaching, research and programs in the humanities.
A new turf will be installed at UB Stadium this summer and Alumni Arena’s basketball court will be refinished – with both playing surfaces prominently featuring the new wordmark and new spirit mark for the UB Athletics department, as well as the interlocking UB logo.
