A new course being taught to UB medical students doesn’t take place in a lab or a classroom. Instead, it’s happening in the Culinary Arts department kitchens of SUNY Erie Community College. And instead of white coats, the students wear chef’s coats and toques.
'Work In Real Time' is a monthly salon-meets-project incubator that will take place in the atrium of the UB Center for the Arts. A total of $4,500 will be awarded to artists with winning projects.
UB alumnus and five-time Emmy winner Alan Zweibel will be working with students as part of the College of Arts and Sciences’ Arts Collaboratory program.
