    The Connected and Autonomous Vehicle Enclosure (CAVE) will serve as the signature building for the Stephen Still Institute for Sustainable Transportation and Logistics at UB, and a key piece in the university's autonomous systems and vehicles, AI in transportation and big data analytics in transportation research.

    The Sustainable Urban Mobility and Intelligence Transportation (SUMIT) Lab is designed to help researchers develop, test and evaluate intelligent transportation technologies before they are deployed in real-world environments.

    The TRAVL facility features immersive virtual simulation technology for collecting and analyzing multimodal datasets which can be leveraged for interdisciplinary academic research, informing and developing policy, creating industry partnerships, and workforce development.
