Inclusive Launch Foundry is an accelerated training and internship program to help students from diverse backgrounds refine business ideas and gain practical experience in a start-up.

About Inclusive Launch Foundry Program

This program is designed to help students from diverse backgrounds develop and refine business ideas through workshops, coaching and industry engagement. Through a series of workshops, students learn about market research, customer validation, pitch deck generation and other topics.

Participants have opportunities to practice presenting their ideas, receive advice on pitching their projects from venture coaches, and network with like-minded students and local entrepreneurs. At the conclusion of the program, students pitch their ventures for seed funding and are matched with a local start-up company for an internship experience that aligns with their interests and goals.

Participation and Eligibility

This program is open to any UB student from a diverse background with a business idea. Students do not need to have a start-up to apply. Interested students must complete an online application available on the Startup and Innovation Collaboratory powered by Blackstone LaunchPad website. There is no cost to participate.
