Tian Jiang is a Graduate Student Administrative & Communications Assistant at DSSN. She is currently pursuing a PhD in the Media Studies department at UB. She received a MFA in Visual Communication Design at School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2015). And she is also the Creative Director of MediumMedia®.Her interest in new media and technology has led Jiang to work in a cross-disciplinary manner utilizing aspects of graphic design, photography, video installations, and performance art to delve into topics of urban modernization, censorship, social networks, and the effects of changing environments on the human experience. Jiang has exhibited her work nationally and internationally including London Art Festival 2018 (Golden Award, Freedom Ambassador 2018); CICA New Media Art Cenference 2018 & Solo Exhibition; Currents 2016 Santa Fe International New Media Festival; Fantastic Art China 2016 at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
