Sadie Dempsey.

Sadie Dempsey is a political sociologist studying democracy, social movements, and civic life. She earned a PhD from the Department of Sociology at the University of Wisconsin—Madison and is currently a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the University at Buffalo. Her research is published or forthcoming in Qualitative Sociology, Politics and Society, The Sociological Quarterly, and RSF: The Russell Sage Foundation Journal of the Social Sciences.

Tony Molino

Tony Molino.

Tony Molino, PhD Candidate, Political Science, University of Rochester

Tony Molino's research focuses on institutional design, collective problem-solving, and social epistemology, particularly in the context of the federal bureaucracy. HIs work integrates political science and social epistemology to understand how institutional frameworks support adaptability, resilience and effective governance.

Yi Tian

Yi Tian.

Yi Tian, PhD, Economics, George Mason University

Yi Tian's research focuses on how group identity shapes economic decisions and social preferences. Using experimental methods, she investigates questions such as whether anticipated future interactions can serve as a group categorization method, and how the dissipation of group identity affecs established preferences. Her work contributes to the understanding of behavioral economics while providing insights for promoting social inclusion.
