Ming-Qian Ma

#UBuffalo Department of English Associate Professor Ming-Qian Ma has recently guest edited an issue of CounterText: “Poetry Elsewhere, Elsewhere Poetry” (Volume 7, Issue 3, Edinburgh University Press). The issue contains an introductory essay by Ma, a lengthy interview with Jed Rasula, an essay by Professor Steve McCaffery (“Discontinued Mediations: Preludes to Fractured Thinking”), poetry by Rae Armantrout (“As if Traveling Bushwhack”), Sasha Steenson (“Tilth Overland Trail”), Will Alexander (“Three Short Poems Concerning the Henbane Bird”), and Ariana Nadia Nash (“Dystopic: An Erasure”), as well as an article by Andrew Dorkin (“Humoring Futurity: Avant-Garde Poetry for Children”)—not to mention a piece by Henry Sussman on Steve McCaffery’s overall achievement titled “The Poet as Cyber-Linguistic Programmer of Her Age.” Congratulations to all! https://www.euppublishing.com/toc/count/current
