NIH career development webinar set

Early-career faculty and clinical researchers interested in developing their health-related career goals, as well as senior researchers interested in becoming mentors can attend a webinar, “Navigating the NIH K Award: How to Maximize your Chances for Funding,” on March 31.

The free webinar, presented by Henry Khachaturian, NIH training program policy officer, will take place from 3-5 p.m. in 190 Kapoor Hall, South Campus.

It is sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Research and Economic Development and the Office of Research Advancement.

NIH K-series awards provide support for faculty candidates and senior postdoctoral fellows to promote mentored career development of investigators to conduct successful independent research and be competitive for major grant support in health related research.
