UB issued this statement today to address the racist and antisemitic flyers found on campus:

"We are aware that a series of racist, anti-semitic and white nationalist flyers were posted in several buildings on the North Campus over the past week as students began the spring semester.

"UB in no uncertain terms denounces this hateful rhetoric.

"Diversity, inclusion and mutual respect are core values at the university. We want to reassure the community the flyers were not sanctioned by any recognized group at the university.

"We also want to be clear that UB opposes bigotry, hatred and discrimination in any form. As we start a new semester, we again reiterate our commitment to all that we have the right to study and work at UB without fear of violence, harassment and intimidation.

"We stand in solidarity with our colleagues and regret any distress these flyers may have caused the UB community."
