The University Libraries have changed the name of the Health Sciences Library to Abbott Library.

The change reflects the breadth of collections and materials housed in Abbott Library, which is home to the health sciences collection, Architecture and Planning Library and the Robert L. Brown History of Medicine Collection.

As more professional schools transition to the South Campus, University Libraries will endeavor to transfer their respective collections and materials to Abbott Library.

The name of the building will remain Abbott Hall.
