Members of the UB community can get a tutorial on Webex, UB’s private, online meeting space, at information sessions taking place this month on the North and South campuses.

“Collaborating with Webex for Faculty, Staff and Students” will take place from 3-4:30 p.m. Feb. 21 in 130 Abbott Hall, South Campus, and from 3:30-5 p.m. Feb. 27 in 310 Silverman Library in Capen Hall, North Campus.

Register online for the North Campus and South Campus sessions, which are sponsored by UBIT and the University Libraries.

Webex is a powerful collaboration tool that offers video and audio conferencing, as well as group messaging through Webex teams. Webex allows faculty members to host events such as office hours and lectures, while students can use Webex for group projects and much more. UB staff are finding Webex especially useful for meetings and trainings.
