UB faculty and staff interested in getting into better shape, and increasing their strength, energy and stamina in a fun and safe environment can take part in Exercise as Medicine.
The semester-long, exercise-training program is being held Jan. 28 through May 10 in 125 Kimball Tower on the South Campus.
Participants will work with trained students from the Department of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences. Group classes consist of low-to-high-intensity circuit training that is designed to improve balance, cardiorespiratory fitness, muscular strength and muscular endurance.
Classes are held from 6:45-7:45 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The cost for the program is $70. Class size is limited.
