The UB Women’s Club will hold its holiday luncheon to raise money for student scholarships on Dec. 7 at Banchetti by Rizzo, 550 French Road, Amherst.

Participants can do some holiday shopping at 11 a.m. and then settle in for lunch at noon.

Vendors will be selling etched glassware from Predmore Creations, jewelry, scarves, purses, jellies and jams, chocolates from Kelly’s Country Store on Grand Island, Christmas ornaments designed by local artist Chary Robbins, and greeting and note cards.

The cost for the luncheon is $30 for three courses, including coffee or tea. A cash bar is also available.

The UB Women’s Club is a service organization to the university. Members participate in educational and charitable activities that benefit the Grace Capen Academic Awards.

Membership is open to anyone who has a commitment to the university and the purposes of the club.
