Exhibition showcases new art faculty

The Department of Art is welcoming five new faculty members with a month-long exhibition of their work in the department’s Lower Art Gallery in the Center for the Arts.

“New Faculty Showcase” will open Sept. 6 with a reception from 5-7:30 p.m. in the gallery in Room B45 in the basement of the CFA. It features the work of Maximilian Goldfarb, clinical assistant professor of sculpture; Matt Kenyon, assistant professor of graphic design and emerging practices; Chris Lee, assistant professor of graphic design; John Opera, assistant professor and head of the Photography Program; and Shasti O’Leary Soudant, visiting professor of graphic design.

The exhibition will close on Oct. 6.
