The UB Women’s Club will hold a reception for new members from 5-7 p.m. Aug. 23 in the atrium of the Biomedical Education Building on the South Campus.
Light refreshments will be served.
The event also will include a tour of UB’s Museum of Neuroanatomy, a museum dedicated to the study of the brain. It features specimens, models, photographs, X-rays, brain images and multimedia instructional material in neuroanatomy, as well as other exhibits.
The UB Women’s Club is a service organization to the university. Members participate in educational and charitable activities that benefit the Grace Capen Academic Awards.
Membership is open to anyone who has a commitment to the university and the purposes of the club.
