The Department of Music will present several concerts by student performance groups next month that offer UB music lovers a wonderful opportunity to hear great music at no cost.

The following student performances are free of charge:

• UB Symphony Orchestra, Daniel Bassin, conductor: 7:30 p.m., Nov. 2, Lippes Concert Hall, Slee Hall, North Campus.
• UB Concert Band, Jon Nelson, conductor: 7:30 p.m., Nov. 17, Lippes Concert Hall.
• UB Jazz Ensembles, George Caldwell, director: 3 p.m., Nov. 22, Lippes Concert Hall.
• UB Percussion Ensemble, Tom Kolor, director. 7:30 p.m., Nov. 30, Lippes Concert Hall.
