Three UB coaches are hitting the road as part of the inaugural Coaches Caravan, a forum to give fans in Western New York and elsewhere in the state the opportunity to interact with the coaches and learn about their favorite UB teams.

Traveling in the caravan will be football head coach Lance Leipold, men’s basketball head coach Nate Oats and women’s basketball head coach Felisha Legette-Jack, as well as athletics director Danny White and other members of the UB coaching staff.

The caravan will begin May 12 at The Big Ditch in Buffalo and travel to Niagara Falls, Hamburg, Rochester and New York City before winding up June 4 at Santora’s in Williamsville.

At each stop, fans will get the chance to ask the coaches and administrators questions about UB’s teams. The events are free of charge. Light refreshments and a cash bar will be available.

All events will take place from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The schedule:

  • May 12: The Big Ditch, 55 Huron St., Buffalo.
  • May 14: Stir at Seneca Niagara Casino, 310 Fourth St., Niagara Falls.
