Bring kids to work on April 27

UB will mark “Bring your Kids to Work Day” on April 27 with a day of special activities on the North Campus.

The event will begin at 9 a.m. with breakfast and a keynote address on children and online security by Catherine J. Ullman, information security analyst in UB’s Information Security Office. Other activities include an introduction to UB’s Gifted Math Program, art demonstrations, tours of Alumni Arena and UB Stadium, and an ecology tour.

Most activities are appropriate for children ages 10-15.

A detailed schedule is available on the Bring Your Kids to Work website.

Employees may purchase a commemorative UB Card for their child for use during Bring Your Kids to Work Day. The card, available at the UB Card Office for $2 beginning April 20, is preloaded with $5 toward food and beverage at any Campus Dining and Shops location. The card is valid only on April 27. CDS will be offering a “kid-friendly” menu for children under 12 visiting UB that day.
