UB Women’s Club to hold fashion show

The UB Women’s Club will present “Spring into Fashion,” a fashion show and luncheon to benefit the Grace Capen Academic Award Fund, on April 18.

The event will begin at 11 a.m. in the Ramada Hotel and Conference Center, 2402 North Forest Road, Getzville, adjacent to the North Campus.

It will include shopping, a basket raffle and 50/50 split, short election meeting, luncheon and a show featuring fashions by Christopher & Banks.

The luncheon menu choices are chicken salad in pineapple, vegetarian quiche or harvest chicken salad. Soup, dessert and beverage are included.

The cost is $30 per person, which includes tax, tip and donation to the Grace Capen fund.

Mail checks, payable to the UB Women’s Club, to Betty Schaertel, 10 Crestwood Court, Tonawanda, N.Y., 14250, by March 28.

The UB Women's Club is a service organization to the university. Members participate in educational and charitable activities that benefit the Grace Capen Academic Awards.

Membership is open to anyone who has a commitment to the university and the purposes of the club.
