Have lunch at Crossroads Culinary Center (C3) and then tour two of UB’s greenest buildings during a program on March 10 presented by the Professional Staff Senate’s Sustainable Living Committee.

The program begins at 11:30 a.m. with lunch at the pasta station in C3, located in Red Jack Quad in the Ellicott Complex. Ryan McPherson, UB’s chief sustainability officer, will talk about the university’s sustainability strategy.

Following lunch, participants will tour the LEED Silver-certified C3, then move on to a tour of the LEED Gold-certified Greiner Hall led by Don Erb, director of sustainable operations integration.

Greiner Hall is SUNY’s first LEED Gold-certified residence hall.

The cost of the event is $9.95 for those eating lunch, payable at the door, and free for those taking part in only the building tours.

Additional sponsors are Campus Dining & Shops and UB Sustainability.

Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. Deadline for registration is March 3.
