The Department of Theatre and Dance will present “Savage in Limbo,” John Patrick Shanley’s play about the search for purpose in an often-purposeless world, March 4-8 in the Center for the Arts.

Performance times are 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday in the Black Box Theatre.

Set in an anonymous Bronx bar, “Savage in Limbo” tells the story of a group of rootless, young “losers” who congregate in hopes of finding relief from their lives. It is directed by Maria S. Horne, associate professor of theatre and dance, and an internationally recognized and award-winning master-teacher, actor, director, producer, performing arts judge and scholar.

Tickets are $20 for general admission and $10 for students from any school and seniors, and may be purchased at the Center for the Arts box office and at tickets.com.
