The piano and organ will take center stage next week at the Department of Music’s first Brown Bag Concert of the semester.

The free concert, which will take place at noon in Lippes Concert Hall in Slee Hall, North Campus, will feature performances by students of Eric Huebner, assistant professor of piano, and Roland Martin, adjunct instructor of organ and harpsichord. The program will include the music of Liszt and early Ligeti, as well as other gems, says concert manager Philip Rehard.

Now in its 16th season, the Brown Bag Concert Series offers an informal way to enjoy performances featuring Department of Music faculty and students. Patrons are encouraged to bring their lunch. Each attendee will receive a voucher redeemable for a pair of complimentary tickets to a more formal concert presented by the music department.
