IAMT sessions to be held

The Wellness & Work/Life Balance unit of University Life and Services is offering two free workshops on Integrated Amrita Meditation Technique (IAMT) to UB faculty and staff.

The relaxation technique, which will be taught by Bharat Jayaraman, professor and chair of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, can be practiced in 20 minutes and helps participants reduce stress through simple yoga postures, breathing, visualization and sound.

Sessions will be held from 9:30  a.m. to 11:30 a.m. April 24 in 100 Allen Hall, South Campus, and from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. May 1 at the Research Institute on Addictions, 1021 Main St., Buffalo, on the Downtown Campus.
