Is your office interested in composting food scraps and coffee grounds? The SSIT can help haul away your food scraps. To participate, your office must first go through a compost training and be willing to have a designated staff member serve as a point of contact.

Interested in knowing how much energy your office or lab uses? We can quantify your plug load and work with you to develop ways on making your space more efficient.
Want to make your event zero waste? We can provide reusable plates, and utensils. Our SSIT team will deliver the materials and pick up them up when finished.
Let us help you organize a small sampling of what Hired, our professional clothing boutique, has to offer for the students in your department.
Do you have left over food from an event that you don’t want to go to waste? A member of our team will come and pick it up to be given away to those looking for a meal.
Assess how your unit does in reducing waste and diverting resources! Have our SSIT team sift through your waste to identify ways to improve your habits surrounding material waste.

This is a pilot year for our Student Sustainability Impact Team. We will do our best to fulfill all requests, but please be aware that it might not be possible in every instance.
